iLEAD Because My VOICE Matters
The Wabash Valley iLEAD Because My Voice Matters is a youth leadership program that hosts two summits throughout the year. In June, on the beautiful campus of Saint-Mary-of-the-Woods College, students are invited for a three day/ two night overnight event. The high energy summit is full of team building experiences focusing on building relationships, person growth and hands on experiences.
The second summit of the year is hosted after Christmas break in January. The leadership team heads to Washington, D.C. to participate in CADCA’s National Leadership Forum, a four day conference that teaches the latest strategies to fight substance misuse. Students hear from policymakers and nationally recognized experts at Capitol Hill.
There are so many ways to get involved with iLead that go beyond the two summits during the year. Youth are encouraged to participate in a variety of communnity action events. If you would like to get involved, reach out at creed@casyonline.org or fill out the iLEAD/VOICE Application.
